I am Joyce Williams-Hudson, a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and a Certified Diabetic Educator: Registered by Commission on Dietetic Registration, Certified by the National Certification Board for Diabetic Educators. I also hold a certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from American Dietetic Association. I completed my B.Sc. in Food and Nutrition From The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master’s of Science from Texas Southern University with a focus in Clinical Dietetics emphasis on Renal, Oncology and Diabetic Medical Nutrition Therapy.

I am currently employed as the Chief of Nutrition and Food Service at the John D. Dingell VAMC, previously specialized in Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology and Renal Nutrition at the Audie L. Murphy VA hospital in San Antonio Texas. In addition while working in the private sector for Hospital Cooperation of America (HCA) in Texas, developed a successful weight management program for children. I have more than 25 years of experience in the field of Nutrition emphasis in Medical Nutrition Therapy.
